This role will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing colleague events and communication strategies that align with our company's goals. This role requires a creative and organized individual who can manage multiple projects concurrently and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Position Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Management:
End-to-end planning, organization, and execution of a variety of colleague events, including corporate townhalls, mid-year and year-end celebrations, AMAs, fireside chats, leadership conferences and offsites, among others.Source, negotiate, and coordinate vendors, venues, and other external partners to ensure seamless event execution.Develop creative concepts and themes that align with company objectives and brand image.Develop and coordinate scripts, show-flow and content briefs for events, including drafting, reviews by stakeholders and participants, and rehearsals.
Manage internal stakeholder support for events, including IT, HR, media, marketing, event volunteers and staff, and finance.Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost effectiveness.Manage all event administration, including drafting and submitting ICPs, maintaining Smartsheet reporting and other reporting as requested.Conduct post-event evaluations to assess outcomes and identify areas for improvement.Coordinate post-event photo and video summaries and promotions, including promotion on local and global internal channels (MFCentral, MFTV) and external ones.Support and coordinate regional and global events held in or transmitted to the Philippines marketCommunications Strategy:
Develop and implement communication plans to promote colleague events (pre and post)Monitor and analyze communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of event communicationsTeam Collaboration and Leadership:
Work closely with Head of Communications and External and Executive Communications Manager for enablement in media and leadership events Support the Communications Team’s various creative requirementsStakeholder Engagement:
Serve as a primary point of contact for event-related inquiries and communications.Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, internal collaborators and partners, HR and corporate services, among others.Ensure consistent and effective communication and metrics reporting with all stakeholders before, during, and after events.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in event management and communications, preferably in insurance and banking sectors.Proven track record of successful event execution and strategic communications.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative and familiarity with event management software and social media platforms.Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as business requires required.
