C.H. Robinson is seeking a Manager, Facilities & Construction to oversee daily operations, strategic planning, maintenance and safety for our facilities. You will lead a team responsible for managing office and industrial construction projects, vendor relationships, space planning, maintenance operations, and workplace services. Additionally, you will oversee the safety, functionality, and efficiency of our work environments on an ongoing basis.
At C.H. Robinson, we value in-person collaboration to foster innovation and success. In this hybrid role, you’ll work on-site at least three days per week, with flexibility as needed, balancing teamwork and autonomy.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Oversee daily facility operations including maintenance, security, janitorial services, and space planning across multiple sites.Lead office and industrial construction projects, renovations, and improvements—developing budgets, timelines, and execution plans.Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and service-level compliance.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support workspace planning, operational needs, and cross-functional initiatives.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including emergency preparedness and inspections.Develop and manage facility budgets, track expenses, and recommend cost-saving strategies.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace experience, operational efficiency, and sustainability.Maintain accurate documentation of building systems, maintenance records, and safety compliance.Lead and develop a team of facilities and project management professionals through coaching, performance management, and career development.Foster a culture of open communication, inclusivity, and continuous improvement aligned with company goals.QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or universityMinimum 5 years of construction management, project management, and/or facilities management experienceMinimum 2 years of experience leading and managing teamsPreferred:
Experience in multi-site facility management or within a logistics, supply chain, or corporate office environment.Certified Facility Manager (CFM), FMP, or similar industry certificationConstruction management certification such as Certified Construction ManagerCertified Project Management Professional (PMP) CertificationFamiliarity with sustainability and energy efficiency best practicesAdvanced understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and preventive maintenance programsStrong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external vendorsProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteWe will review applications for this role on an ongoing basis and encourage all interested candidates to apply at their earliest convenience.
Compensation Range
$83,800.00 - $130,500.00The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location. Your individual base pay within this range is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
