**Pay Range:** $86,195 - $140,275
Rush salaries are determined by many factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related experience and skills, as well as internal equity and industry specific market data. The pay range for each role reflects Rush’s anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position. Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case.
**Summary:**
The Manager, Faculty Recruitment is responsible for leading initiatives to support the faculty recruitment departmental strategic plans. Responsibilities include leading decision support process and annual recruitment planning grid, overseeing provider retention efforts, faculty diversity & inclusion, and assisting the Director, Faculty Recruitment with practice acquisitions. The Manager, Faculty Recruitment is responsible for facilitating successful project delivery including the planning, scheduling, execution, and closing of all assigned projects within established budget and schedule. The incumbent will manage the efforts of team members (organizational resources and engaged third party vendors/consultants) to deliver solutions according to scope and goals. This role will support the Faculty Recruitment Office by identifying, analyzing and recommending the prioritization of improvement and innovation projects on a broad range of topics. **Required Job Qualifications:**
• Bachelor’s degree in business, health care, information systems, human resources or related field required
• Five or more years of experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in a large physician practice, health services, or hospital setting
• Have a demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and communicate issues, findings, and recommendations to senior leadership and other constituents
• Strong time management, prioritization, and analytical and communication skills, along with business acumen
• Must be able to work effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office, Visio and Project Management software
**Preferred Job Qualifications:**
• Master’s degree
• Seven years of project management experience
• PMP Certification
• Experience with implementing human resource applications and technologies
• Knowledge of Lean process improvement methodology
**Responsibilities:**
+ Responsible for annual recruitment planning grid with collaboration from Chairs, Chiefs, Medical Directors and Senior Leaders to guide budget process and recruitment activities for following fiscal year. This involves reviewing planning grid with each chair/medical director to forecast next 2-3 years of recruitment activity, compiling and reviewing draft grid with strategic planning initiatives, presenting to senior leadership for review and approval, and presenting approved recruitment planning grid to chairs
+ Leads recruitment decision support process, including collaboration with other relevant entities across the organization (e.g. RUMG Finance, HR Compensation, Strategic Planning, Decision Support). Includes reconciling proformas and financials through review at recruitment workgroup; vetting non-priority positions prior to development of proformas; facilitating final review with leadership and sending approval notifications. Includes maintain a database of approved proformas, recruitment forms, justifications and approval notifications
+ Develops annual departmental budget and monitors spending, including expense processing and tracking
+ Responsible for preparation of quarterly reports on College of Medicine faculty and Advanced Practice Providers detailing new hires and searches, candidate visits, diversity and inclusion, provider turnover/retention and onboarding life-cycle surveys. Track and report status (progress, next steps, issues) against project plans to appropriate stakeholders and senior management based upon agreed to communication plans
+ Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise team as they work with project sponsors and business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, tasks, milestones, budgets, and measures of success
+ Supports the development and implementation of annual departmental strategic plans. Work with Faculty Recruitment leadership to establish the program management infrastructure and develop standardized project documentation. This includes the governance structure, management processes, plans, procedures, tools, etc.
+ Reviews and approves all offer letters and Faculty Employment Agreements prior to release specifically related to compensation package
+ Facilitates Fair Market Value process for evaluating faculty compensation; works closely with RUMG Finance and HR benefits and compensation to prepare compensation package for faculty and facilitate documents for review. Responsible for sign-on and retention bonus distribution and faculty relocation
+ Facilitates Advanced Practice Provider recruitment positions in Rush talent acquisition system. Responsible for oversight of Advanced Practice Provider recruiter
+ Develops annual Advanced Practice Provider incentives with Office of Advanced Practice and RUMG Finance
+ Leads retention efforts for faculty and Advanced Practice Providers; analyzes turnover data to drive strategy and develop retention program; reports quarterly provider retention results
+ Participates in retention efforts for Rush staff; analyzes turnover data to drive strategy and develop retention program
+ In collaboration with the Director, Faculty Recruitment, conducts critical assessments of existing businesses across the Rush System, identifies major issues and opportunities, and develops objectives to achieve desired results
+ Collaborates in the identification of targeted practices or physicians that align with system growth initiatives
+ Assists the Director, Faculty Recruitment and Senior Management when acquiring new faculty or practices
+ Analyzes financial models to assess feasibility of proposed business development strategies
+ Leads faculty recruitment database management and optimization and participates in development of new information management systems
+ Reviews department policies and procedures and updates as needed
+ Administers Student Loan Repayment program pilot with Treasury and participates in reevaluation of program and opportunities for expansion
