**JOB SUMMARY**
Act as the main point of contact between regional marketing team and SSA properties, the Manager, Field Marketing, South China provides overall marketing support to properties that participated in the Field Marketing Shared Service Agreement (SSA), as well as to ensure that property programming is aligned with brand standards, brand voice and fully utilizes all available tools and resources. This position will be reporting to the Senior Regional Commercial Director and dotted line to Senior Director, Topline Marketing. Key accountability areas include(1) property marketing guidance and consultation (2) executing and ensuring pull through of GC and regional marketing programs, suggest and deploy right channels and platforms 3) Onboarding, train up property marcoms;4) provide communications guidance to property team, including issue management and other media activities organization.
**CANDIDATE PROFILE**
**Education and Experience**
**Required**
• Minimum of 6 years marketing experience demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance (hospitality industry preferred).
• Experience in integrated marketing communications, advertising agency, digital marketing experience, including awareness of paid media optimization tactics.
• College degree in hospitality management or marketing preferred.
**Preferred**
• Knowledge of leisure, group, and business transient hospitality business in defined market(s).
• Working knowledge/experience in Travel & Hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of food and beverage marketing, as well as social catering, especially wedding trends.
• Understands how to apply and leverage corporate marketing programs, platforms, and tools
**CORE WORK ACTIVITIES**
Overall marketing support to properties that participated in the Field Marketing Shared Service Agreement (SSA)
• Provide guidance on full year/seasonal hotel marketing plan, and integrate regional resource into the hotel plans when appropriate
• Facilitate the participation and pull through of Brand & Portfolio & Destination marketing campaigns
• Support Senior Regional Commercial Director on executing regional initiative in generating profitable revenue to increase RevPAR, market share, and brand awareness by fully leveraging marketing programs at the property and market level, and by ensuring that marketing efforts are effectively directed to the consumer relevant promotions and packages.
• Provide guidance on local/national media list, as well as influencer/KOL engagement
• Be the escalation point for crisis management
• In person training from Marcom onboarding to annual marketing training workshops - MISEED
• Pre-opening support and team onboarding
• Partner with area digital service team to drive property presence/performance on e-channels
• Develops constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, e.g. GMs, Sales Leaders and Managers & Revenue leaders, and maintains them over time.
• Informs and/or updates the executives, the peers and the subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner.
