Job Description
Assist the Vice President, Finance in preparing reports for various investors including cashflow forecasts, annual business plans. Consolidation of financial results and reporting to Brookfield Properties on a portfolio of Class A and Class AA office assets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparation/Review of monthly and quarterly IFRS financial statement forecastingAnalyze cash flow projection reports for existing propertiesAssist in preparation of annual budgets and valuation projections for corporate business planReview monthly co-ownership reporting and quarterly presentationsPreparation of financial analysis, market analysis and board presentations for management reviewReview compliance of mortgage loan covenants and reporting requirementsPerform ad-hoc projects and financial analysis for management as neededWork closely with the accounting team during monthly close cycles to ensure accuracyCoordinate with asset management, lease administration, corporate services, marketing, and investor relationsQUALIFICATIONS

Experience in Accounting and/or FP&A5 years’ experience in accounting, ideally in the real estate industryArgus experience a plusFamiliarity with Yardi preferredAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially ExcelEDUCATION/DESIGNATIONS/LICENSES:
