Position Summary:

Responsible for the accurate preparation of financial reports that summarize and forecast the financial position of the Plan.  Also responsible for financial analysis, assist in developing strategies and implementing the long-term goals of the Plan.

Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports that accurately summarize and forecast the company’s financial position. Responsible for tracking appropriate premium payment from the state, and developing internal premium reports/analysis. Prepares or coordinates the analysis of the records, trends and costs, revenues and expenses and budgetary variances. Documents current accounting controls and procedures.  Develop and maintain procedures as changes in operations warrant. Assist with the preparation of the quarterly and year-end annual statements as specified by regulatory agencies.

This is hybrid leader position with requirements to come onsite as scheduled with leader, Flint, MI.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Five years of experience in accounting/finance.

Preferred:

Master’s degree. Previous leadership experience in accounting/finance.
