About the Team

Workday is seeking a Manager, Finance Operations to join our team! Our employees are at the core of our business which means the candidate has a passion for leading and motivating people, growing talent and building impactful teams. We want an individual that thrives in a high growth environment and has a demonstrated track record of implementing processes that scale to future growth. The candidate will also have a strong understanding of Finance operations best practices and a passion for customer service. This role assists in establishing strategy and priorities for the team, ensures goals are met, assists with issue resolution, drives departmental process and system improvements, and ensures company and departmental policies are followed.

About the Role

Lead all Finance Operations Responsibilities for Asia Pacific and JapanDevelop strong partnerships with the relevant leads across the areaDeliver timely and accurate invoicing for the regionDrive Cashflow management through timely collections.Lead Risk across their portfolio.Find opportunities and lead initiatives that drive departmental efficiencies, particularly in the utilization of new system enhancements and the scaling of processes. Maintain, enhance and ensure departmental compliance with escalation protocols and controls.  Monitor/measure team performance to goalsComplete regular performance management activities with employees including the completion of development plans, goal setting, and performance reviews.Special projects as assigned and particularly looked to as a lead role in specific projects that involve complexity and impact multiple Workday departments. 

About You

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

3 - 5 years of Finance Operations management experience in positions of increasing responsibility with a focus on process improvement, ideally within a rapidly growing organization or public company.Demonstrated experience in leading high performing teams.Shown ability to lead multiple responsibilities and priorities.Demonstrated experience in identifying and implementing process improvements.
