The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for collaborating with the sales leaders and driving strong financial decisions. This position reports to the Sr. Director Finance - Americas and is part of the Finance and Accounting team located in Deerfield, IL and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Provide financial leadership and analytics to the business on operational performance and processes + Provide leadership and management of the FP&A team. Focusing on talent development and process improvements. Monthly and Quarterly financial reporting and analytics for business along with ad hoc analysis as needed. + Lead and manage the annual budgets & monthly forecasts for the areas of responsibility. Working closely with business leadership to create analytics supporting sales growth and profits as well as accuracy in ongoing forecasts. + Work closely with Accounting Shared Service to support annual audits and other requests as needed. Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives. + Responsible for establishing the framework and deadlines for budgeting, forecasting, decision support analytics, and other financial analysis. The essential requirements of the job include + 7+ years of experience in progressive FP&A roles or similar experience in a large complex multi-national public corporation + 5+ years of experience with annual planning/budgeting processes, including experience consolidating inputs from multiple locations + Candidate will possess strong analytical skills, detail orientation, problem-solving skills, and proven ability to multi-task while working within short time constraints + Experience in leading a team; with proven ability to develop staff, and drive change + Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience Leica Microsystems, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $115K - $140K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
