This role is pivotal in leading the support for our Wealth Management business segments. You will work closely with executive management and various senior stakeholders to drive strategic decisions and ensure the financial health and growth of the business. **Key Responsibilities** + Financial Analysis and Reporting: Lead the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for the Wealth Management segment. + Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that support the growth and profitability of the Wealth Management business. + Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance. + Business Partnering: Act as a financial advisor to the Wealth Management leadership team, offering data-driven insights and guidance on financial matters. + Efficiency: Identify expense saving opportunities and efficiency improvements within the Wealth Management segment. + Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to provide insights that influence business strategies. + Risk Management: Assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the financial health of the business. + Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a financial analyst, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. **Qualifications** + Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus. + Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the financial services industry. + Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Power BI, Microsoft Suite). + Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management. + Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis. + Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and adapt to changing business needs. + Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing team. _At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of_ **_$125,000.00 - $140,000.00_** _for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position.
