Salary Mid-Point: $200,000 Location: Pittsburgh PA Job Type: Permanent IFG Pittsburgh is actively recruiting a Manager of Financial Reporting that will lead a team responsible for timely and accurate internal and external reporting in accordance with GAAP, consolidation, accounting policy and technical accounting.  The role will require proven leadership skills.   

Responsibilities of the Manager, Financial Reporting Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and disclosures in accordance with IFRS Lead and develop the financial reporting team that consists of 5-7 people as well as manage external audit relationship Lead preparation of materials for quarterly conference call and support analyst inquiries Present financial statements, judgments, estimates and disclosures to Audit Committee Coordinate annual audits and quarterly reviews by external auditors Supervise and review research of technical accounting topics prepared and drive implementation of policy Manage and be responsible for the review and approval process of financial closing activities to ensure deadlines are met, including internal reporting to management and external reporting
Qualifications of the Manager, Financial Reporting Bachelor degree in accounting or finance MBA and/or CPA highly preferred 10+ years in a public accounting firm or public company with internal or external reporting experience Proven leadership experience required Analytical and problem-solving skills supported by strong technical accounting knowledge Excellent organization, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills Must be flexible and open to the role changing as business needs and priorities change Ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines with multiple priorities Working knowledge of large ERP applications and associated, bolt on reporting tools
