Job Description

Team Summary 

The Visa Direct Product and Solutions team is responsible for leading Visa’s efforts to support all channels and extend payments “beyond the card”. Building on Visa Direct’s market leading platform, the Visa Direct service enables corporates, governments, banks, Fintechs, etc., unprecedented options to collect funds like a local and send domestic and cross border payments to consumers and small business around the world. 

What a Manager, Fintech Commercialization and Solutions does at Visa: 

As a Manager in the Product and Solutions team, you will drive critical growth initiatives on product commercialization, client solutioning and manage go-to-market product launches that scales the Visa Direct business with Fintech and Remitter clients in the Asia Pacific (AP) region.  

You will be responsible for working collaboratively with front line sales and account executives of Digital Partners, Fintech, Wallet platforms and Merchant client segments, and product and solutioning teams in the hub and in-country team members.  Working within the organization for timely solution launches, you will lead engagements with senior client stakeholders for solutions of various domestic and cross-border opportunities 

You will need to: 

Consult with clients, partners and prospects to design solutions that accelerate adoption of Visa Direct for fintech client segments  Support segment and sales leads, to sell Visa Direct products to Fintech, Digital Partners, Wallet platforms, Merchants, etc. Provide business and technical solutions for new use-cases penetrating target markets, by assessing market/client/prospect needs, reviewing ecosystem readiness, collaboration with regional, global, and product and commercialization teams Enable solutions by working with cross-functional stakeholders including Legal, Finance, Client Support (CS), Risk, Compliance, AML, and other product teams across Visa Conduct product deep-dive workshops with client stakeholder to scope solution and ensure client requirements is captured and a full understanding of the proposed solution / workflow before a client is signed Developing a deep understanding of Visa’s solution offering and act as an SME providing support to client stakeholders on all aspects of solution such as product rules, functionality, implementation requirements, operational workflows and back-office support models, tailoring each proposed solution according to the client’s strategic and go-to market plans Hand-off client deals to implementation team, and act as onboarding lead for client program launches, providing consultation and support during client implementation for launch best practices and driving the program towards launch achieving faster time to revenue for Visa Accurately forecast client implementation launch commitments and report to business for revenue forecasting and impact due to launch delays  Advocating voice of client/market internally and driving continuous product improvements based on client/market feedback Contributing to product and solutioning documentation to ensure they’re clear, accurate, and up to date with solution offerings 

This role is based out of Singapore Hub and supports Asia Pacific markets. The role will report to Director, Commercialization and Solutions for Visa Direct.

 

Qualifications

What you will need:

The ideal candidate will be a structured, analytical thinker with excellent communication skills and a strong interest in how solutions are developed and delivered. The individual will enjoy variety and collaborating with people, and is thoughtful, curious as well as analytical with a desire to make an impact. Importantly, the role holder is client-centric and oriented around finding solutions to complex problems. 

Minimum 8 years of work experience in payments, banking or payment processing, having performed product management, pre-sales and solutioning roles. Experience with Fintech is a plus Skilled at client conversations and can clearly articulate technical solutions that drive business benefits Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to broad audiences in an approachable way  Understanding of mobile, API and service-oriented architecture Embrace change and ambiguity in an ecosystem that is rapidly evolving Consultative product solutions experience within an enterprise or financial services environment Ability to think creatively to solve problems with customer at the center Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail  Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong ability to manage internal and external stakeholders A data-driven and solution-oriented mindset is required
