Purpose of RoleThe Footwear Sourcing Operations Manager will be responsible for the timely delivery and quality of Under Armour product by overseeing all aspects of development, commercialization (MST), costing, production and quality assurance within UA partner factories in the South Vietnam and China.
Your Impact Managing Projects through the development and costing in close collaboration with UA HQ, UA Local team, and the FDD/factory partner. Understands the product and vision of the Under Armour brand and educating the factory partner to understand as well. Manages allocated product in accordance with design and specification requirements as detailed by the HQ product team while maintaining an emphasis on performance and integrity. Is able to work within development timelines without compromising product quality and design integrity. Develops an understanding of supplier timelines (ex. molds, lasts) and ensures that these delivery timelines are met. Supports in Cross functional technology team Qualifications Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of related experience Or 12 years of related work experience with no degree Good in Project Management Ability to write report and business correspondence in English Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from their counterparts at UA HQ, their teammates, factory partners, various group of vendor representatives etc. Strong problem solver and ability to define problem, collect data for improvement. Good communication skills Ability to work independently and good teamwork. IT knowledge Workplace Location Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from appointed office/base to the respective factories Return To Work Designation: Based on Factory’s allocation/location.
