**About the role**
Experienced Financial Planning and Analysis professional responsible for managing specific global budgets for corporate functions, and supervise FP&A Center of Excellence Hub team supporting Global Budgets organization for Carrier World Headquarters. Expert in executing comprehensive financial analysis, research, budgets, and forecasts to strategically support business plans. Takes on the responsibility for developing insightful analysis and projections, alongside managing automation projects to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting. This role demands a proactive approach to financial management, with a strong emphasis on leveraging technology and automation to drive efficiency, accuracy, and strategic insights.

**Key Responsibilities**
+ Monthly closing activities and quarterly forecasting responsibilities supporting department expenses
+ Reviews, analyzes, and interprets financial and budgetary reports, delivering observations and preliminary recommendations with a focus on automation to improve data processing and reporting efficiency.
+ Develop and train the FP&A Center of Excellence Hub team
+ Integrate automation tools to streamline analysis and enhance accuracy
+ Provides consultation and guidance to functional or operational management on key financial issues and decisions by understanding key drivers, trends, opportunities, and share corrective actions for implementation
+ Collaborate effectively with accounting and other departments to drive thoughtful analysis of department spending
+ Assist in the preparation of quarterly management review presentations.
+ Utilizes financial modeling and automation software to provide interpretation of complex financial data in spreadsheets, charts, and reports, facilitating better decision-making.
+ Audits and automates financial practices to ensure accuracy, compliance with regulations, laws, and standards, and to identify opportunities for process improvements.
+ Special projects and ad hoc support as needed
+ Software Used Extensively: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Oracle HFM, Smartview / Essbase, Thinkcell
**Minimum Requirements**
+ BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
+ Over 5 years of experience in business administration, financial planning, or accounting.
+ Experience supporting multi-million dollar department budgets.
+ Advanced English level to handle fluent and assertive conversations across global teams (both written and spoken).
+ Strong ability to work with both business and functional stakeholders.
+ Strong analytical and spreadsheet development skills, with prior knowledge of financial consolidation systems (preferably HFM) and MS Excel.
+ SAP experience.
+ Ability to work with both employees and senior management.
+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal direction to meet reporting deadlines.
**Preferred Requirements**
+ Knowledge of US GAAP, reporting requirements, financial analysis techniques, and budgeting/forecasting processes.
+ Experience balancing numerous priorities and demands.
+ Quick and high-quality analysis and presentation creation using PowerPoint and advanced Excel.
+ Knowledge of Power BI (preferred) and 4 Hanna (preferred).
+ Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to work well within a collaborative team.
