About the Role

The Manager, FP&A role works cross-functionally and within Finance to provide analytic and strategic decision support and to develop recommended courses of action at the direction of the Sr. Director of FP&A. The Manager, FP&A will perform complex financial modeling tasks and have the capability to develop sophisticated financial models to achieve departmental and/or company objectives. By analyzing trends and key performance metrics, they will identify and define opportunities to improve performance and positively impact results.  

A Day in the Life

Analyze financial performance to explain variances to forecast and budgetSupport the annual planning process in partnership with FP&A and business partnersComplete complex business modeling and analysis to drive revenue growth, identify operating improvements and deep dive on cost structuresCollaborate with cross functional teams to assist in attaining organization-wide objectivesConduct ad-hoc analysis, modeling, and reporting on variety of projects and initiatives using a broad range of data sources and tools, including ExcelDeliver meaningful insight and practical recommendations, in addition to sound financial data analysis, to inform and influence business decisions

Sound knowledge of corporate finance fundamentalsAbility to present and communicate complex data and analysis to different audiences in a clear and concise mannerPossesses financial acumen including experience with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysisCommunicate complex financial analysis to all levels of the organization as well as externallyAdvanced Excel functionality including formula writing and macrosAbility to analyze data, draw reasonable conclusions and make recommendations that withstand critical examinationAbility to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environmentStrong interpersonal skills — including written and oral communication skillsSubject matter expert for Business Intelligence, financial and reporting toolsPossess a superior attention to detail as well as unwavering focus on accuracyAbility to multitask, meet demanding deadlines

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in finance, business or related field5 – 10+ years of finance experienceOracle EPBCS/Hyperion/SmartView experience a plusMBA/MS prefer
