The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager (FP&A) is responsible for leading the FP&A function that supports the Cabin Monuments & Integration (CMI) Value Stream. The FP&A Mgr. oversees the financial planning, analytical reporting, consolidation, as it relates to the monthly close, monthly forecast, and annual/long range planning activities.  The role will manage and direct management reporting activities, by working with the controllers and functional leaders, in delivering key financial performance metrics and insightful information for timely decision making.

What You Will Do:

Directs the monthly closing and variance analysis of financial results

Evaluate new business cases, verify methods of estimation, ensure cross functional alignment, and certify profit margin recoverability for moderate or complex programs.

Coordinates and manages the monthly forecast process including the income statement and balance sheet

Coordinates and leads the annual and long-range plan process for the business

Partners with and supports Value Stream leaders and other functional business leaders to support various projects, including cost reduction, revenue growth and expand financial returns

Provides reports to functional and operational management on financial analysis, results, and recommendations

Conducts special projects as requested and builds analytical models to perform complex analyses

Analyzes income statements and prepares reports on findings to make budgeting and cost recommendations to management

Generates forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, operations, programs, engineering, and other areas of business for financial and strategic planning purposes

Utilizes CORE tools to drive process improvements Leads and develops a finance team of five employees

Support business travel up to 10%


Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

SAP experience

Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), OneStream or equivalent financial reporting tool experience

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business economics, or related business disciplines

Qualifications We Prefer:

Applied experience with Microsoft Office tools (advanced Excel, PowerPoint)

Aerospace experience

Experience delivering oral and written communications to various levels of an organization

Experience in a results and metrics driven environment

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
