Royal Caribbean Group’s Supply Chain Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Fulfillment Manager reporting to the Director, Supply Chain Procurement.
This is an on-site role in our headquarters in Miami, Florida.
Position Summary:
The Fulfillment Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of the staff engaged in fulfilling the goals and objectives of the Procurement function. The Procurement Manager is responsible for the end to end PO fulfillment process for the Global Fleet. The Procurement Manager oversees the Fleet Services Team in Miami, Manila and Mumbai ensuring on time and in full delivery of all Hotel, Food, and Beverage products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans, organizes, and controls the activities related to the assigned procurement function. Organizes, manages, and directs the work of the employees in the assigned procurement function, overseeing the assignment of duties and responsibilities for Fleet Services team. Prepares SOP’s and training materials regarding Procurement systems and Fulfillment policies and procedures. Provide continuous training to Provision Agent 1, Provision Agent 2, and Lead roles within Fleet Services to ensure Procurement policies are followed. Analyze and validate complex Storing and Ordering Schedules in collaboration with the Procurement and Logistics teams, ensuring appropriate order lead times and fulfillment cycles based on commodity, shipping condition, and Logistics routing. Oversees the preparation and delivery of various departmental KPI’s. Designs, implements, manages and monitors procurement reporting systems to meet company requirements. Prepares and issues Purchase Orders and Change Notices. Reviews Purchase Order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy. Assigns procurement requests to the appropriate personnel. Negotiates or supervises the negotiation of complex requests for equipment, supplies, and services from suppliers and subcontractors. Ensures successful project delivery in collaboration with the procurement project management team. Align forecasts and reporting with the procurement project management team and the procurement strategy team.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field (or the international equivalent) and/or relevant work experience preferred. 3-5 Years Managerial experience in a cruise line, supply chain, or procurement related function. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and priorities; able to quickly prioritize work for maximum impact. Ability to manage the financial aspects of the assigned procurement function, including the successful identification of expense reduction through cost efficiencies. Ability to manage a large team across multiple geographies and time zones. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal service including needs assessment techniques, quality service standards, alternative delivery systems, and customer satisfaction evaluation techniques. Strong in analysis, forecasting, problem solving and quality improvement in the execution of strategies. Ensures total costs are identified and optimized throughout the entire procurement process. High degree of skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Strong written and oral communication skills and be able to work effectively with all senior levels of operational personnel (shipboard and shore side). Ability to write reports business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the public. Ability to manage a staff in a positive and productive manner by motivating, developing and managing employees as they work. Ability to utilize and administer the disciplinary action process through coaching and counseling to improve performance or terminate employment.
