OTFLH: Florida Home Offices Remote Location, Remote City, FL, 33408 USAThe Manager, Functional Skills, Global Learning and Development will be responsible for consulting and collaborating with Otis functional and business unit leaders, HR, and Talent CoE, to design and develop effective and engaging learning solutions to drive organizational desired skills supporting strategic business goals.
This role reports directly to the Director, Functional Skills Development, Global Learning, is location flexible, and can be fully remote. This role is an individual contributor and does not have any direct reports.
Key Accountabilities:
Partner with business and HR leaders to analyze performance gaps and identify underlying needs when learning support is requested; recommend appropriate solutions to improve performance and business results.Design and develop engaging and effective learning experiences and environments that align with Otis’ culture and use appropriate strategies, Agile methodologies and technology.Partner with stakeholder and subject matter experts to provide guidance and define instructional plans to deliver people-centric, business oriented and outcomes focused learning and performance solutions.Collect, analyze and use data to gain insights and enable decisions to improve learning performance including the effectives and impact of learning programs.Manage training program content, business and program alignment.Experience & Qualifications:
Strong understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design, content program management and experience driving global talent/learning initiatives.Proven knowledge of Agile methodology and framework; ability to integrate Agile principles into learning and development strategies to drive continuous improvement and adaptability.Ability to build relationships and gain buy-in and commitment to the value of development initiatives.Strong skills in conducting learning needs analysis and aligning conclusions and recommendations to global strategic programs. Demonstrated business-oriented approach to designing learning programsSkilled at creating engaging, inclusive and effective learning content using available technologies, performance supporting materials, practice activities and knowledge checks.Strong writing, graphic design, storyboarding, and storytelling skills.Proven experience with rapid authoring and content creation tools for eLearning and video creation, editing and translation i.e. Articulate 360, Vyond, Synthesia, Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office 365.Experience with content management in Workday Learning and content resource libraries.Demonstrated success in consulting, planning, implementing and evaluating learning solutions.Ability to establish credibility and build collaborative partnerships with all levels of management and colleagues globally across a broad range of functional areas.Collaboration and partnership with the L&D organization to promote, create buy-in and nurture a culture of continuous learning at Otis.
