The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. The Business Insights Delivery team aims to enable the business by building solutions that turn data into insights with well-designed data assets and effective, compelling dashboards and visualizations.As the Manager, Geospatial Business Insights Delivery, you will develop, deliver, evolve, and maintain data from various sources. Provide mentorship and guidance to geospatial insights to team members on how to efficiently deliver solutions that adhere to development standards and guidelines. Experience is the Esri software suite is critical for this position.What Will You Do?Works to support and contribute to the long-term geospatial strategyAdept in the use of geospatial tools and aerial imageryActively participates in catastrophe responsePerforms adhoc spatial analysis in support of the organizationParticipates in the intake of business demand and helps assess value to ensure alignment to long-term roadmaps.Stays current in new geospatial Decision Analytics and Insights capabilities.Works with vendors who provide geo-spatial data and capabilities for possible adoption by Travelers as needed.Develops insights delivery solutions that are deployed to business partners, including reporting, guided analytics, self-service, embedded, augmented, and data as a service capability.Provide mentorship and guidance to geospatial insight tam members on how to efficiently deliver solutions that adhere to development standards and guidelinesProvides use cases for tool assessment as needed.Perform other duties as assignedWhat Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
Strong experience with Esri software suite (ArcGIS Pro, Experience Builder, Nearmap)
Solid knowledge of SQL.
Experience in maintaining and developing geospatial web applications, dashboards, and other insights delivery tools leveraged by stakeholders around the organization.
Ability to independently perform adhoc location-based research and analysis
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management.
Strong technical understanding of all delivery methods and platforms and their use and purpose.
What is a Must Have?
Bachelor’s degree or three years equivalent experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geography, Computer Science, or related required
