Crocs, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Global Consumer Public Relations for Brand/Clogs. This individual will enhance global marketing efforts by driving brand and product awareness in media, driving brand engagement and excitement through media and consumer-focused events and media outreach. This individual will also handle and/or lead consumer PR activations within cross-functional programs to build brand/product buzz and serve as a global partner for regional localization and execution of consumer PR strategies in key marketplaces around the world.


The ideal candidate is a consumer PR professional with a consistent track record of driving positive, impactful media coverage for consumer brands and their products, has established relationships with stylists and strong experience with VIP dressing, is familiar with leading or working for an agency, can activate a multi-layered campaign and is a natural collaborator with cross-functional partners and teams. The position will live within the Global Marketing Team and report to the Director, Global Marketing Communications.

What You'll Do Effective development and management of global consumer PR strategies and activations that will make a material impact on brand perception and product desirability, including: Ongoing, seasonal product news engine; Communications strategies; opportunity identification, with planned strategy and activation; In-market activations and product showcasing; Creation of strategies, tools and templates to scale PR-focused marketing initiatives and activations globally. Established record of working with VIP stylists and celebrity talent. Leads PR agency partners: project tracking, budget oversight, effective internal and external communication to partners. Manages at least one direct report internally. Creates comprehensive, 360-degree PR activation plans to support all Global Marketing initiatives. Provides continuous measurement and analysis of PR effectiveness including ROI to guide delivery of actionable optimization recommendations. Works closely with Director as primary POC for product, program or Integrated Marketing-specific media inquiries and interview requests. Finds opportunities for strategic consumer and media facing brand awareness opportunities and event executions, including through digital media tie-ups, editor/influencer gifting/seeding, product launch activations, etc. Assists with the day-to-day management of Crocs Cares activities, including identifying and coordinating key giving and partnership opportunities, and helping to drive awareness through integrated marketing activations. Actively reviews Crocs and more macro media trends in footwear, key competitors, related categories, and works closely with cross-functional teams to swiftly activate as applicable What You'll Bring to the Table Bachelor’s degree in public relations, mass communications, journalism or related field. Minimum of 8 years of PR agency or brand experience with a consistent track record in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience working with global partners and leading vendors on both a local and global scale is not required, but preferred. Established relationships with VIP stylists and experience with celebrity talent dressing strongly preferred. Footwear industry experience and globally scaled experience are both a strong plus, but neither are requirements. Strong project management and cross-functional team leadership skills including organizational skills, project planning abilities, timeline management, results-orientation and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication abilities, written and verbal; internal and external. Ability to lead regional teams in development and execution of global strategies; international media experience desired. Requires thorough knowledge of general PR and marketing principals. Ability to effectively manage time, multi-task and prioritize duties, operates with sense of urgency. Advanced analytical skills, ability to translate complex data and trends into actionable strategy. Ability to develop, manage and improve upon process. Demonstrates consumer centricity and experience as well as passion for product and brand building. Strong organizational skills and (in partnership with Director) ability to prioritize workload.

Title: Manager, Global Consumer Public Relations 

Salary or Pay Range: $105,000 - $115,000  

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

Your participation in this flexible schedule plays a key role in building a connected and successful team. In-office requirements vary by our work personas: Resident (5 days), Collaborator (4 days), Connector (2-3 days), Explorer (fully remote). This role has been aligned to the Collaborator persona.
