The Marketing Manager, GSM - Customer Insights leads Johnson Johnson MedTech’s electrophysiology activities surrounding voice of customer (VOC) events including learning plan development, collecting and synthesizing insights, and organizational sharing of insights and recommended actions. Working closely across functions, this marketing leader will be responsible for the development of formalized learning plans and shaping VOC activities to produce relevant customer insights. The Marketing Manager will also create and deliver customer insight reports to senior leaders and the broader organization following VOC events, working across functions to turn these insights into relevant actions. This role balances relationship-building, strategic, creative, and analytical thinking to develop insights that raises internal awareness of key customer insights to position the business as a leader in the electrophysiology space today and into the future.

Key Responsibilities:Learning Plan Leadership – work closely with Global Strategic Marketing and RD to map out the key questions and problem statements each year to develop a comprehensive learning plan.Project Management - partner across organization to shape VOC events to produce relevant insights. Lead creation and dissemination of learnings from events.VOC event responsibilities: In partnership with the Sr Director, coordinate content and agenda to align with the learning plan, assist in moderating customer discussions and activities, and document customer insights. Analysis and Insight Creation: Following each event, analyze and synthesize customer feedback to inform learning plan and company strategy.Insight Dissemination: Build and share customer insight reports across the company. Relationship-Building - selectively form relationships externally with electrophysiology Key Opinion Leaders. A high degree of internal partnership across functions and regions is required to activate insights.Strategy Development - Actively participate in the annual cadence of Strategy events, in close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure customer voice is a clear input to strategic decisions.

Education:

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. MBA and/or advanced professional certifications are preferred.Experience and Skills:

Required:

4 years of relevant professional experience required, 6 years preferred, with experience in customer engagement, insights, marketing, competitive selling, strategy, business development, or a related field preferred. Role requires a passion for problem solving, relationship-building, customer understanding, and simplifying the complex.High level of intellectual curiosity that drives proactive questioning and understanding of customer conversations to develop actionable insights and strategy.Ability to link customer feedback to portfolio positioning and pipeline development strategy.High level of communication and presentation skills is required.The ability to prioritize tasks, leading several projects at a time, and eliminating/overcoming unproductive, low priority, or low probability tasks and projects.Experience with MS office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word.Strong preference location is Irvine, CA, but remote opportunities could be considered, which could determine travel percentage. Up to approximately 50% travel.Experience with Medical Device or Electrophysiology experience requiredPreferred:Experience in the healthcare, medical device, or cardiovascular disease area is required. Experience in cardiac ablation, electrophysiology or interventional cardiology, is preferred.Consistent record of influencing across a large organization as a result of strong collaboration skills is preferred.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $172,500. For the California Bay area, the anticipated base pay range for this position is $114,000 to $197,800.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
