JOB DESCRIPTION:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, implement and monitor account receivable procedures, goals and standards in relation to the industry standard and regulations.

Responsible for communicating reimbursement requirements with point of entry staff and clinical service program directors. 

Responsible for loading grant requirements into Workday.

Responsible for state and federal reporting for all awarded and active grants & contracts.

Work with Directors to identify and resolve budget & compliance issues to ensure accurate and timely spend-down of the grants, validate matching payroll and other expenses for the grants and ensure accurate reporting/invoicing as requested by the federal and state agencies and other grantors.

Provide guidance for internal & external grant audits and reviews.

Monitors staff ability to generate timely billings, posting of monthly charges and payments within the allotted time period.  

Analyzes outstanding balances and reports to leadership, emphasizing problem areas. 

Process end of month functions within the requested time frame and coordinates with accounting staff.

Gather & analyze data and situations and make appropriate decisions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Level              

Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or accounting required. Experience may be considered as a substitute for degree requirement.

Years of Experience       

4-6 years of experience. Experience in health care setting, social service agency, or other related field preferred.
