About the teamGTM Analytics is a central analytics team that enables Stripe’s GTM and Marketing organizations to understand their impact on the business and enable them to make smart, strategic decisions. The team supports a wide remit of Sales, Communication, Policy and Growth partners across Stripe.
We are looking to fill two manager positions on GTM Analytics:
Manager, Marketing Analytics
Marketing Analytics empowers Marketing and Sales Development teams by delivering comprehensive analyses and tools that help partners assess the effectiveness of their initiatives within the broader sales funnel. From website metrics through pipeline conversion, Marketing Data Analysts partner closely with stakeholders to scope and execute on analyses and reporting, as well as provide ongoing analytical expertise in all facets of marketing.
Manager, Revenue Analytics
Revenue Analytics partners closely with GTM Operations to deliver analyses and reporting for GTM managers and leadership that illuminate the performance of Stripe’s sales-led business. The team is also responsible for enabling Stripe’s Sales Executives with tooling that allows them to track against their targets and understand opportunities to hit their goals. Across these areas, the team provides ongoing thought partnership in understanding Stripe’s opportunity to hit its ambitious goals.
What you’ll doAs a manager within our GTM Analytics team, you will lead and inspire a high performing team of analysts to build data products and deliver analyses to our key leaders across Marketing and other GTM teams including Growth and Sales. You like to be responsible for the success of your team and are a holistic thinker, are eager to create solutions, and like to continuously find ways for your team to improve. You will shape your team’s strategy by partnering with stakeholders to identify priorities, produce compelling work within your team, and provide insights that enable our leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions. Your work will span across a broad spectrum of business areas, touching on everything from lead generation to campaign performance and beyond.
Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop, then execute on a roadmap that aims to arm our business partners with the data, analyses, and insights needed to run the business. Act as a player-coach to manage and motivate a team of data analysts, partnering with them to go deep in developing expertise in Stripe’s business and GTM data. Partner with the GTM Analytics Manager to create a long-term strategy to evolve the maturity of Stripe’s GTM analytics tools, dashboards, and other data products. Lead and contribute to cross-functional projects (e.g. forecasting, target generation, modeling) with our partners in Finance, Data Science and Sales Strategy & Operations. Develop processes and norms that provide structure and elevate the work within the GTM Analytics team. Act as a thought partner in areas of data analysis, manipulation, visualization and storytelling. Minimum requirements You have at least 3 years of direct management experience leading analytics teams, and 10+ years of overall analytics experience. Demonstrated experience building a team, defining its mission and vision, and executing on its goals. You have familiarity and technical expertise in Marketing or Sales metrics and concepts, such as multi-touch attribution and sales funnel metrics. You work very well cross-functionally, and are able to think rigorously and make hard decisions and tradeoffs. Proficiency in SQL (Python is a plus). Experience building compelling and insightful self-serve dashboards or other scalable analytical tools for partner teams. Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver on multiple projects with a high attention to detail. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Sciences or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Sciences or a related quantitative field and/or experience in working on data analytics in the tech field. Experience building and maintaining data pipelines using a distributed data framework (e.g. Hadoop, Spark). You are comfortable working with geographically distributed teams.
