SALARY: $79,200-$94,050 bonus eligible

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Manager, Payroll (Individual Contributor) is responsible for managing and executing end-to-end payroll processes for all U.S. Business Partners, with a primary focus on hourly employees. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll, obligatory payouts, and bonus calculations while consistently meeting weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines. The individual will lead process improvement initiatives, participate in project teams, and conduct in-depth analyses to identify opportunities for performance enhancement or to address operational gaps. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Engage and support all US Business Partners for their payroll calculation and processing needs

Perform critical payroll processes, obligatory payouts, and bonus calculations for hourly employees

Routinely meet weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual deadlines

Lead process improvement or project teams for the identification and resolution of process issues

Conduct special analysis as required to provide understanding of business or financial performance to improve performance or open gaps

Prepare and present reports to business managers to illustrate results of analysis and recommended actions

Perform complex transactional responsibilities within assigned area of responsibility including, but not limited to, data and account analysis and variance reporting

Requires flexibility to meet critical deadlines – will include some holiday support

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

A commitment to finding innovative ways to continually improve processes

A relentless drive to provide excellent customer service

Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of business/ financial/payroll experience

5+ years’ experience business analytics and financial reporting

2+ years’ experience participating in complex business projects, determining timelines and action plans

Ability to understand employment contracts and manage critical deadlines.

Flexible work habits and ability to adapt to critical work demands

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel skills

Experienced with SAP HR, SAP FI, SAP Time Management, Business Objects or other query type software

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent verbal, written and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional payroll certification (CPP, FPC)

ERP and timekeeping experience

Beer/alcohol industry knowledge
