DaVita is a healthcare services company and a leading provider of kidney care in the United States. As such, DaVita strives to be the provider of choice among kidney dialysis patients, offering care in a variety of settings. One such location is in the hospital where DaVita provides over 1.3M treatments for about 800hospitals every year.
The Manager will be a core member of the Hospital Services National Team, which supports our field operators through identification of opportunities for improvement and development and implementation of solutions that streamline the delivery of care, while making it safer and more effective. The Hospital Services National Team consists of multiple lanes including: Clinical, Finance, Operations, Account Management, Strategy, Biomed, Legal & Compliance. The Manager Role will work with all of these functions to drive strategic and operational improvement.
Essential Duties:
The Manager, Strategy and Operations (Hospital Services) will be responsible for driving the thinking and execution on key strategy initiatives as well as key operational priorities for the Hospital Services National Team by driving engagement across lanes. The Manager will potentially be responsible for managing 1+ analyst level direct reports and report to the Director of Strategy and Operations for Hospital Services. Example Responsibilities below:

Identify gaps within Hospital Services operations, determine best process/capability to close gaps and drive improvementIdentify opportunities to leverage core strengths and capabilities from internal organizations to improve Hospital Services performanceManage the implementation of recommended changes in partnership with field leadershipSupport development of annual and multi-year strategic planning prioritiesOperations:
Lead development of tools, processes, and best practices to drive efficiency in the delivery of careIdentify best technological partners for improved efficiency and data accuracy across operationsEngage with Finance to improve and automate reporting of operational metricsWork with large operational datasets to identify trends and opportunities for improvement; in partnership with Manager of Clinical and Operational AnalyticsEngage internal support organizations and manage delivery of SLAsManage and delegate requests for support from field leadershipManage the implementation of recommended changes in partnership with field leadershipQualifications:
A minimum of 4-8 years of relevant experience with progressive responsibilities focused on strategy, operations and/or project management (healthcare preferred)MBA or graduate degree preferred, but not required (business, natural sciences, or healthcare related field preferred)Effective written and verbal communicator with all levels of management, executives and outside vendorsStrong analytical skills and ability to identify insights from large data setsExcellent interpersonal skills, able to lead and manage resources in a highly matrixed organizationStrong project management skills including planning, development and deliveryAbility to take initiative, plan, prioritize and execute, independently, the completion of all projects in a fast-paced environmentExcellent organizational skills, attention to detail and follow throughStrong time management skills, ability to prioritize, and the ability to multi-task effectivelyInnovative approach to problem solvingWhat We’ll Provide:

Salary/ Wage Range
$97,000.00 - $181,500.00 / yearCompensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
