+ This job is a member of the Inflight Team within the Customer Experience Division.
+ Responsible for assisting in the overall direction of American Airlines' catering operations at 100+ locations worldwide.
**What you'll do**
+ Manages a team of field based regional managers that provide day-to-day oversight and auditing of catering locations
+ Improves mainline and Regional caterer operational performance through continuous monitoring and accountability
+ Collaborates with American Airlines’ Airport Leadership & Commissary leadership to achieve catering performance goals and successfully implementing changes to inflight service offerings
+ Drives Customer and Flight Attendant feedback into operational improvement
+ Manages new market start-ups to ensure caterer competence and execution
+ Collaborates with Procurement, Finance and Inflight Dining Services peers to develop and implement department initiatives
+ Assists Airport Operations teams in achieving dependability goals
**All you'll need for success**
**Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**
+ Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
+ 4 years experience with airline catering and/or Commissary operations
+ 2 years previous management and team development experience
+ Knowledge of employee relations, including labor/management relations
+ Knowledge of World Food Safety Guidelines
**Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**
+ Must be able to travel up to 30%
**Skills, Licenses & Certifications**
+ Results driven leader with the ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously
+ Strong leadership and coaching skills
+ Experience leading significant change initiatives successfully
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Ability to demonstrate impeccable ethics in the area of corporate governance, financial reporting, and team development
