Manager, Information Risk Assurance and Automated Control Testing

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Manager, Information Risk Assurance and Automated Control Testing, responsible for executing and providing objective assessments of risk management activities and enhancing control assurance processes through control testing automation. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of risk management and data analytics.

Position Responsibilities:

Control Testing Automation: Lead the design and build of data analytics for automated control testing.

Assurance Activities: Support assurance activities in areas such as business continuity management, incidents, KRIs, KPIs, third-party risk management, IT asset inventory, and more.

Risk Management Services: Assess information and technology risks using control frameworks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Process Improvement: Standardize and continuously improve assurance processes and procedures.

Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain and foster relationships with internal stakeholders and provide insights to senior leadership and business groups.

Regulatory Awareness: Stay updated with evolving information and technology risks, regulations, and laws.

Required Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 8 years in Assurance and Control testing, Information Security, Business Resiliency, or Technology Risk within a large enterprise.

Skills: Demonstrated expertise in IT controls assurance and data analytics. Previous experience in audit or second-line oversight. Comprehensive understanding of data analytics ecosystem components. Proficient in employing Power Apps, Power Automate, and Python for data analysis and automated control tests.

Education: University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

Certifications: Professional designations such as CA/CPA, CISSP, CISA, CRISC, FAIR, MBCP.

Preferred Qualifications:

Problem-solving and analytical mindset.

Strong communication, consulting, and report writing skills.

Ability to explain technical information to non-technologists.

Strong time management and organizational skills.

Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.

Knowledge of regulatory environments in the U.S. and Canada.

Experience in IT Assurance, IT audit, information security, risk management, and compliance.

Results-oriented with a focus on quality and delivering value.

Strong presentation and facilitation skills to all levels and audiences.

Willingness to learn and explore new methods.
