Main Objectives and Duties:
1. Manages IT Services in all aspects (Desktop, Systems, Network and Telephony, Programming)
○ Plans, organizes, directs, controls and evaluates the operations of information systems and electronic data processing
○ Develops and implements policies and procedures for electronic data processing and computer systems operations.
○ Meets with managers and directors to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines
○ Hires and manages IT personnel and contractors to design, develop, implement, operate and administer computer and telecommunications, networks and information systems
○ Provides training/coaching to IT Staff as needed and making sure all procedures are being followed.
2. Leads of the IT Team on monitoring and maintaining all available technologies for the site to ensure maximum accessibility
○ Troubleshoots all technology issues
○ Maintains log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance
○ Makes recommendations about purchase of technology resources
○ Researches current and potential resources and services
○ Monitors security of all technology
○ Advises staff of security breach and/or changes in password or security status
○ Ensures installation of lock out programs
3. New LOB and Expansions Implementations/deployment
○ Provides plans and design for Network, Systems, Electrical and Technical aspects of Facilities
○ Leads the implementation/deployment of Network, Systems, Electrical Infrastructure and Technical aspects of Facilities
4. Personnel Management
○ Conducts Staff meetings
○ Ensures necessary tools are provided for all colleagues to improve IT service.
○ Provides leadership for management initiatives to develop good communication among its members to drive performance.
○ Encourages giving of feedback to fuel performance.
○ Prepares and conducts performance reviews.
○ Ensures professional development for all team members (provide training, share best practices and transmit knowledge).
○ Ensures best practices documentation.
Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Computer-Related Technology or equivalent experience in management information systems.
At least 5 years experience in IT related jobs, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity
