Lumicera Health Services is seeks a Manager, Information Technology to join our team!

 

The Manager, Information Technology ensures the streamlined operation of the Lumicera IT team in alignment with the customer-focused objectives and the IT Vision, a collaborative partner delivering innovative ideas, solutions, and services to simplify people’s lives. This individual will plan, design, coordinate and align resources to support the daily activities of the team. The manager will work closely with customers and decision makers to identify, recommend, develop, implement, support, and improve the customer-focused solutions.

 

The ideal candidate would have significant technology execution experience in the healthcare (preferably Pharmacy) industry, with at least 3 years of direct experience as a people manager of a multidisciplinary technology team, including direct reports and contracted vendor/partners. The candidate would also be well versed in on-prem and cloud-based applications’ development, maintenance and support. The successful candidate would also possess a proactive, consultative, continuously improving, and service-oriented mindset – able to listen to and understand the needs of business partners or clients – while advising the best set of technology-supported next steps and executing with timely delivery.

Manage and mentor the software development team membersProvide insight, feedback, and recommendations to senior managementCollaborate with leadership to provide solution and technical architecture decisions and recommendations for application and infrastructure enhancements and modernizationManage staffing, including recruitment, supervision, performance management, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actionsWork with architects, product owners, and experience designers towards a shared vision and contribute to product roadmaps and business strategiesMake decisions, delegate, and remove barriers enabling the team to deliverParticipate in strategic and operational planningOversight of some or all of the following roles: Software Engineers, Programmer Analysts, and Application System AdministratorsOn-call availability, and some travel requiredOther duties as assigned Qualifications

What our team expects from you?

College degree (2- or 4-year program) typically in the field of computer science, information systems, or software engineering, and 6+ years of pharmacy, PBM or health care experience preferred7+ years of software development experience, with a deep understanding of application development and Technical Architecture. .NET background required with hands-on experience in the last year using .NET CORE5+ years of software development project management experience in an Agile environmentHands on experience and accountability architecting, designing, implementing, and delivering large scale distributed systems and/or applications for the cloud, including event/API architecturesExperience and knowledge in developing events-based integrations tooling for documentation, versioning, service discovery/registration, testing and management; experience using API gateways a plusPrevious experience working with Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/PCF etc.) preferredLeadership of a multi-disciplinary team is strongly preferredProfessional PBM industry work experience preferredExperience working in onshore/offshore development modelKnowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws is preferredHealthcare industry practices and HIPAA knowledge would be a plusDemonstrated understanding of human resource management principles, practices, and procedures would be a plusParticipate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectivesThe ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employeesWhat can you expect from Lumicera?• Top of the industry benefits for Health, Dental, and Vision insurance • 20 days paid time off • 4 weeks paid parental leave • 9 paid holidays • 401K company match of up to 5% - No vesting requirement • Adoption Assistance Program • Flexible Spending Account  #LI-Remote
