Overview of the Role
Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. is looking for a candidate with experience to lead the operational and tactical execution of the Integrated Business Process (IBP). This role ensures the IBP process remains on track and effectively addresses business and planning challenges and involves supporting the organization with problem solving, process design, tool creation and providing analytical support to all departments as needed.
Saputo offers a hybrid work arrangement, giving employees an ability to enjoy reasonable flexibility between working in office and working from home.
Salary: $88,325 to $115,930. Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills and training.

Lead the monthly IBP process in accordance with Oliver Wight standards.
Shape the process through design team meetings, supporting owners and leaders for each IBP step.Co-lead the Demand and Supply Review meetings – Set agenda, execute tasks and prepare for meetings.Ensure all plans, action items, and decisions are effectively communicated and integrated into subsequent process steps.Ensure that decisions from the meeting are being executed in each function/department/team. Work with process owners on required escalation items.Develop, track, and report key metrics to monitor the effectiveness of process decisions to identify progress, root causes for correction or process improvement across supply chain, sales and finance functions.Product Management Review
Ensure adherence to IBP Stage Gate Process – track actions and discussions regarding projects to other IBP steps as needed.Facilitate the achievement of commercial objectives (volume, share and financial growth) by coordinating actions between various IBP steps and departments.Demand Review
Lead the development of 3-24 month statistical and predictive time-series forecast models in collaboration with the Demand Planning and Sales teams, building consensus and documenting key assumptions.Develop a 3-year growth projection for product categories based on sales trends and insights from Market Insights team.Maintain and update an accurate database of business opportunities and risks in collaboration with Sales and SBD (Product, Revenue Management) teams, acting as the single point of contact for this information across the organization.Lead the annual demand (volume) budget creation.Track demand gaps against targets and lead gap closure discussions.Supply Review
Translate Demand Plans and scenarios to plant/equipment level to identify capacity utilization.Conduct what-if analyses to create supply scenarios and documents assumptions.Identify supply deficits, and cost overruns. Synthesize recommended solutions based on alternatives and their impacts on business needs.Reconciliation/MBR
Collaborate with finance to convert volume projections to financial metrics.Liaise with different functions to support evaluation of business cases for capacity projects.Create executive summaries for the Senior Leadership Team from other IBP Steps and seek decisions as needed.You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management or related quantitative field.MBA and/or Masters in Supply Chain Management considered an assetAPICS supply chain certifications considered an asset3-5 years of Supply, Demand or Capacity Planning experience related to the dairy, food or consumer packaged goods industryMust have experience participating or running an S&OP / IBP process for at least 2-3 years in prior rolesMust have Working knowledge of product innovation process, demand and supply planning, capacity planning and financial statementsMust have strong analytical background with a sound understanding of statistics.Must have advanced knowledge of Excel and presentation designExperience with advanced analytical tools such as RStudio/Python and PowerBI/Tableau is an asset.Recognized leadership and autonomy, excellent communication, planning and work organization skills.Team oriented and strong ability to engage and people.Bilingual, French and English, an asset.This year, Saputo is celebrating 70 years of passion and craftsmanship!
