Manager, Integrated Marketing

Position Summary: The Manager, Integrated Marketing is responsible for driving the overall marketing strategy and marketing plans for omni-channel sales, engagement, and customer growth. This position helps to deliver on business plans and objectives with a focus on optimizing what is working and recommending innovative and targeted ways to reach customers. Primary Responsibilities: • Consistently demonstrates a deep understanding of the business, competitive, and consumer dynamics to inform strategic planning • Serve as the primary liaison between the merchandising team and the broader marketing organization, outlining clear business priorities and influencing how they are supported within the total marketing mix • Drives Marketing goals, strategic plans, and tactical plan alignment across business and cross-functional partners • Serve as a key expert on the voice of the customer to ensure marketing messaging is appropriate at the right time to the right people. Partner with analytics team to identify key moments within the marketing calendar to position specific categories and promotions. • Develops marketing briefs for tentpole campaigns, weekly promotions, New Product Releases, and any other campaigns assigned to support the retail business. • Own the retail marketing calendar process, inclusive of annual planning timeline, stakeholder inputs, and day-to-day maintenance • Support merchandising org in any top vendor planning sessions and joint business planning meetings, inclusive of tactical plan building, contributing to meeting decks, etc. Education, Experience & Skills: Minimum education required/preferred, area of study: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Digital or related field Minimum years of relevant experience required: 5+ years experience in similar role. Retail industry experience mandatory. Additional skills/knowledge required include: • Strong verbal and written communications skills • Ability to work autonomously with an entrepreneur mindset • Strong project management skills, with ability to balance priorities across several initiatives. • A passion for e-commerce, and consumer behavior. Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms • Direct experience with complex omnichannel organizations, with experience with both brick and mortar and ecommerce. • Boating/Marine industry knowledge strongly preferred • Bonus Experience with event planning and traditional media planning.
