Manager, Internal Audit
Job Description Job Purpose The ICE Internal Audit Group consists of 80+ staff spread across locations (Atlanta, New York, Chicago, London, Jacksonville, and Hyderabad), with 10 staff based in London. The London team is responsible for providing independent, reliable, and timely assurance over the effectiveness of the control environment across 9 entities based in London, Amsterdam, Singapore, and Abu Dhabi. These entities are made up of exchanges, clearing houses, a trade repository, and a benchmark administrator. Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of audit programs in accordance with Internal Audit methodologies and International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (IIA). Manage multiple and multifaceted audit engagements. Draft audit reports and lead closing meetings with management to discuss findings and management’s response. Lead and support issue validation and business monitoring activities. Participate in department-wide initiatives aimed at continually improving IA’s processes and supporting infrastructure. Identification of regulatory and industry developments to provide timely insight for best practice. Advise and influence decision making and policy development by maintaining effective relationships with key business stakeholders. Support in coaching junior members of the team in pursuit of their goals and team objectives. Business travel to other locations as required (expected travel 5-10%). Knowledge and Experience Bachelor’s degree in business/finance/economics or STEM disciplines. Master's degree preferred. Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIA, CPA, CFA, FRM) is a plus. 7+ years of experience in an Internal Audit function within the financial services (e.g., bank, clearing house, exchange, consultancy) with focus on risk management and controls framework preferred. Strong understanding of or prior experience with one or more of the following topics would be highly desired: market infrastructure, enterprise risk management, treasury and liquidity management, capital adequacy and reporting, stress & scenario testing, back-testing, model risk management, counterparty credit risk management, data analytics. Must demonstrate quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to adapt in a rapidly evolving industry. Knowledge of audit management software.
