What is the Opportunity?

As Manager, Internal Audit Learning and Support, you will provide delivery, administration, and facilitation support for the U.S. Internal Audit Learning & Development (L&D) strategy to strengthen people and organizational capabilities and performance, as part of the multi-year transformation of RBC Internal Audit.

You will be supporting a future-focused and effective global learning eco-system, which inspires and enables shifts in learning mindsets and behaviors. An understanding of L&D and skill building practices, as well as relationship management and communication skills are key to your success.

What will you do?

Learning & Developing (L&D)

Support the creation and communication of learning content, learning experiences, and development programs that support growth of our U.S. Internal Audit talent.Collaborate with U.S. and global colleagues to coordinate, schedule, and manage the delivery of learning sessions.Liaise with employees, trainers and the management team to facilitate learning activities.Deliver training on tools and initiatives that will support people managers and employees.Monitoring participant progress and instructional program effectiveness; establishing and maintaining a learning environment to promote learner engagement and participation actively and freely.Evaluate learning course delivery, measure learning results, and recommend learning program changes.Produce monthly training reports and ensure timely updates of organizational training records within a learning management system.Promote and communicate learning opportunities across RBC Internal Audit’s global network.

Support

Support delivery of strategic initiatives through appropriate change management.Support the creation of content and publication of the bi-monthly departmental newsletter designed to promote awareness of department initiatives and enhance employee engagement and culture.Manage the New Jersey and other hub locations and office space for US, including badge access, seating charts, and office equipment.Responsible for onboarding/offboarding of US Internal Audit staff and consultants (including system/physical access, ordering equipment).Coordinate department activities, including town halls, team off-sites, and any office events.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-Have:

Bachelor Degree or Certificate in one or more of the following; Education/Professional Education and Training; HR/Human Resource Development; Organizational Development; Project Management; Change Management; CommunicationsExpertise in managing classroom and technology-based training programs, facilitation, and training skills with evidence of effective application across different audiences.Experience in learning design, learning program delivery, learning evaluation, e-learning, and facilitation.

Nice-to-have:

Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and methodologies.Working knowledge or experience in financial services.Working knowledge or skills to produce content in newsletter format.

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $80,000-$135,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.  This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
