Manager, Internal Communications

As the Manager of Internal Communications, you will support the development and implementation of strategies that creatively connect the company’s employees to its strategic objectives as well as provide administrative support to the U.S. executive team. You’re a creative thinker, multi-faceted relationship builder ready to join a small, impactful team with high visibility to company leadership. In this new role reporting to the Sr. Manager of Internal Communications, you’ll utilize your top-notch organizational skills, writing and editing chops and knowledge of various communications tools to contribute to engage and educate geographically-dispersed employees.

What You’ll Be Doing…

Support the creation of an internal communications strategy that drives connection to company culture and aligns employees to the company’s mission & values.  Craft clear, inspiring and engaging communications across multiple platforms to engage and inform employees across a multi-locational, hybrid work environment. Partner with Sr. Manager to create organizational, change and other high-impact communications across corporate and field audiences.  Serve as the primary point of contact with field/distribution center teams to ensure clarity & consistency in communications across the network.  Support field engagement teams with creation of town hall presentations.  In partnership with Senior Manager, maintain HelloFresh’s intranet site, ensuring relevant, timely content is being posted and shared with employees on a regular basis.  Lead in the creation and distribution of the company's regularly-cadenced company-wide newsletter.  Support the creation of presentations, decks and other materials for all-hands meetings, open forums and other company initiatives. Measure the effectiveness of internal communications strategies and engagement, making recommendations to increase engagement with HelloFresh employees.  Collaborate with PR, corporate and internal communications teams to support issues management & response strategy. Monitor industry trends and recommends new strategies to improve and modernize internal communication processes. 

 

What We’re Looking For…

4-6 years of experience in communications (internal or external), with demonstrated experience writing for executives and senior leaders.  Experience working cross-functionally with all levels of an organization, including senior leadership.  Ability to synthesize complex information on diverse subjects from multiple sources into clear, concise and compelling messages and presentations. A keen interest for employee engagement and maintaining internal brand reputation. Strong organizational, interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects, often with time-sensitive deadlines. Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace applications & capabilities.  Experience with content creation preferred but not required.  A resourceful, self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a small, fast-moving team juggling multiple projects concurrently. A proactive, forward-thinking individual with confidence in making decisions with reputational impact implications. A flexible, results-driven individual comfortable wearing many hats to get things done.
