Manager, International Dx Growth Strategy

About the Role This role will be responsible for forecasting fleet growth and optimizing acquisition actions to drive healthy supply in DoorDash's international markets (Canada, Australia, & New Zealand). This individual will lead the acquisition strategy, market analysis, forecasting, and developing operational levers that allow DoorDash to achieve fleet growth goals while we grow volume and expand business lines in International markets. This role will own the allocation of multi-million dollar annual budgets to drive Dasher fleet growth aligned with International market level supply/demand dynamics. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing strategy, building new processes, executing tests that tie directly to business impact, and have a strong foundation in analytics. They will think creatively and analytically, working collaboratively with Performance Marketing, Strategy & Operations, Finance, and Analytics. This candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude and entrepreneurial spirit. This is a new role that will report to the Director, Dasher Fleet Growth Strategy on our Dasher Fleet Growth team and sit within the larger Marketing organization. You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… + Analyze complex market dynamics at a granular level to develop operational testing frameworks, develop new solutions, and scale innovations with cross functional partners on Analytics, Product, and Operations. + Drive the weekly spend allocation process that matches fleet growth with customer order volume while optimizing towards efficiency targets. + Constantly iterate and improve the International growth planning process to hit our weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals through acquisition strategy & execution, cross-channel optimization, and testing with Finance, Operations, & Performance Marketing. + Partner with Performance Marketing leads to plan paid media mix testing and ensure accurate forecasting of overall acquisition performance. + Own developing playbooks and working with crossfunctional partners to identify new fleet growth opportunities and scale greenfield initiatives such as new acquisition channels across both existing and newer verticals (e.g. Grocery, Convenience, and Retail) We’re excited about you because… + You have 5+ years of experience and have succeeded in high-performance cultures in industries such as consulting, strategy, operations, tech, financial services, analytics, or similar roles and 1+ years of experience managing high-performing teams + You enjoy getting into the weeds of a problem, testing potential solutions, building scalable solutions, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive impactful business outcomes. + You have strong quantitative proficiency and get excited when insights jump out of the data. You’re comfortable pulling your own data in SQL and are strong in Excel (can build financial models and maintain complex spreadsheets). Experience with database queries, data visualization tools, and SQL is a strong plus. + You’re equally comfortable operating at 10,000 feet and 1 foot. You don’t hesitate to get in the weeds and operate at the lowest level of detail, but you’re just as comfortable thinking long-term and inspiring a team + You are an owner with a strong bias to action who has a proven ability to prioritize and accomplish goals in a fast-paced environment. + You have excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills, an ability to organize information in a high level way to communicate key points to partners and internal stakeholders. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
