Job Summary

Develop and implement inventory management strategies that supports the broader company goals for capital management without compromising uptime and equipment maintenance requirements. Leads Transocean inventory management practices to set and optimize inventory targets for the organization, with goal of driving down surplus inventory from offshore and onshore facilities.

Job Description

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Planning and strategy: Develop and implement a global inventory management strategy that relies on data analytics to help set Min/Max targets for rigs across different geographical locations. Comms and Education: Engage with Rig Management and Operations Managers to educate and drive inventory optimization.Inventory controls: Monitor and ensure warehouses comply with Transocean’s policies, processes, and controls in conjunction with regional supply chain managers.Analytics and reporting: Develop reporting tools, monitor, and analyze data to drive outcomes.Hub & centralize WHS: Develop and establish rules for centralized warehouses to optimize global inventory level while maintaining (or increasing) support level to operations. (hub and spoke)Collaboration: Engage with other support organization (IT, Maintenance, reliability, etc.) to ensure inventory strategy is aligned with other efforts. Collaborate with Key vendors to drive and influence their strategic spare part stocking philosophy (consignment /demand planning) to support Transocean.

Education:

Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree Supply Chain ManagementPreferred Level: Master's Degree Supply Chain Management

Experience:

Minimum Required: 5+ years of related experience.Preferred Level: 10+ years of related experience.
