The Manager, IT Global Procurement will report to Director, IT Global Procurement and is responsible for developing and execution of the Category Management strategy within assigned Information Technology categories for Cloud, Software, Hardware and Professional Services. This role works collaboratively with business unit partners to competitively assess the global supply base capabilities and qualifications for Regeneron’s interests. The Manager, IT Global Procurement is responsible for the supplier relationship, actively participates in supplier selection, and runs ongoing performance and service delivery. We are looking for someone who must have demonstrated capability to collaborate with business partners to manage a supply base and maximize value, minimize risk, and ensure quality & cost effectiveness.

Accountable for supporting the definition and implementation of IT Category strategy to serve global and regional business needs as assigned.Works closely with partners to manage discussions related to the IT Category and aligns category priorities with Procurement management and stakeholders.Manages negotiations, supplier management activities, and stakeholder engagement activities for IT Category as assigned.Act as a primary point of contact for partners, key suppliers as leader and SME on IT category.Takes direction to drive value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency savings from category management activities.Represents Global Procurement by participating in organizational decisions in IT category with critical short and long-term impact on the success, efficiency, growth, and results of Global Procurement.Demonstrates knowledge of efficient global procurement organizations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry to support the growth and evolution of the Global Procurement organization and leverages this knowledge to drive improvements within Regeneron, aligned with corporate priorities.Manages category activities to ensure compliance with appropriate GxPs and other applicable regulations, as applicable.Negotiates contract terms and conditions in consultation with Law department aligned with Regeneron’s priorities and business requirements.May, either directly or through a matrix structure, manage team of professional level employees responsible for performing category management tasksUses data to drive decision-making for successful category projects.This role might be for you if:
Experience successfully running category processes, and suppliers across a breadth of categoriesEstablishes relationships with business partners and suppliers to get results for Regeneron.Demonstrate success working effectively with cross-functional teams to get results in IT or related categories through effective sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management.Provide insight and knowledge regarding rates, unit costs, and costing structures to enable optimal negotiations.Uses external data sources, market information, and supplier engagement to constantly improve Regeneron’s knowledge of supply market dynamics.Are experienced operating with integrity, focus, and clarity in an environment of ambiguity to lead change and improvement.Demonstrated success supporting global supply market evaluation processes using all available market intelligence, risk, compliance, and financial assessment tools.Supports the primary relationship manager with key supplier relationship management activities.This role requires working on site a minimum of 3 days per weekTo be considered, you must possess a bachelor's degree and 6+ years meaningful IT Procurement experience. A CPSM/CPM/CTPE Certification is helpful. This role requires someone with solid understanding of sourcing contracting, ERP, eRFX and other systems, as well as knowledge of standard MS Suite. Previous leadership experience preferred, with excellent verbal and written skills. We are looking for someone with cost modeling knowledge and an ability to formulate high level presentations.
