Manager, IT Network Operations
Description We are looking for a dynamic Manager of IT Network Operations to oversee and enhance our organization's network infrastructure. This role involves ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of network systems across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical expertise and leadership skills to drive operational excellence and support organizational growth. Responsibilities: • Oversee daily network operations, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and uptime. • Respond to and resolve incidents, outages, and service issues with thorough root cause analysis. • Lead network expansion projects to support business growth, including new site integrations and technology upgrades. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable and cost-effective network solutions. • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee service-level agreements to ensure quality and cost efficiency. • Implement and enforce network security measures, including firewalls, segmentation, and access controls. • Partner with cybersecurity teams to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. • Develop and manage the annual budget for network operations, tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities. • Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, fostering growth and collaboration. • Maintain comprehensive documentation for network architecture, processes, and operational protocols. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus. • At least 7 years of experience in network engineering or operations, including 3 years in a leadership role. • Proficiency with enterprise network technologies such as Cisco routers, Meraki, SD-WAN, and Palo Alto firewalls. • Strong knowledge of LAN, DHCP, and DNS systems. • Proven experience managing multi-site network infrastructure and operations. • Expertise in network security principles and compliance frameworks. • Excellent project management and vendor negotiation skills. • Strong communication abilities, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams.
