ISR & Space Systems Houston is looking for a candidate for its Manufacturing Operations Organization. The position is the focal point for the execution of daily activities to deliver high quality, highly engineered development and production hardware on-time to its customers. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the Manufacturing team in tasks ranging from requirements planning through the manufacturing and shipment of deliverables in support of NASA and DoD Programs. Applicants must exhibit a high degree of initiative and sound judgment, working independently and as a member of an Integrated Product Team. It is essential the individual be capable of adapting to changing conditions and work cooperatively in a team environment.
This position will work onsite daily at Johnson Space Center (JSC).
What You Will Do
Leads team of electrical, mechanical, and test techniciansSupport manufacturing and testing of space flight hardware through build, test, and delivery activitiesEnsures all quality related items for assigned work cells are completed and documented to meet established quality standardsCoordinates activities for materials and logistics problem resolution of assigned work cell(s) to ensure availability of materials and smooth operationsPrepare annual operating budgets for the teamPlan and forecast manpower requirements to support the program and business plansMonitor daily/weekly/monthly team WIPImplement improvement initiatives with the function and program levelsOversee training and development, performance appraisals, health and safety, and department productivityPromote ACE (Lean) activities as a form of continuous improvementMonitor compliance with company policies and proceduresStand in as Operations Manager as requiredMaintain program dashboard metrics for the lab/manufacturing areasWhat You Will Learn

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
