HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
In your role as a Regional Project / Construction Manager at Kellogg, you will be part of our success by:
+ Planning, managing, and executing capital projects against cost, schedule, performance, food safety, and people safety targets at our manufacturing facilities.
+ Deliver lowest cost capital installation by selecting best value contracting strategies, utilizing industry knowledge and experience to challenge contractor estimates, influencing design constructability, pulling appropriate level of engineering, effective managing day-to-day site activities.
+ Serve as primary liaison between plant activities and all engineering / construction activities. Contribute and support operations team with focus on delivering to plant strategy and critical business needs.
+ Work and coordinate efforts of Service Providers and contractors to execute multiple projects.
+ Provide leadership in the identification of ideas, the development of the business cases, and the determination of project feasibilities.
+ Engage with key stakeholders in Supply Chain, Marketing, Safety, and Quality / Food Safety through proactive communication and alignment in order to improve project delivery models.
+ Ensure compliance with all Federal, State and Local regulations / codes, as well as compliance with all Food Safety policies including allergen control / pest control guidelines, Good Manufacturing Principles (GMPs), etc.
+ Foster a sense of teamwork and commitment by leading in a manner that encourages and values each person’s unique contribution.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineer or Construction Management or a combination of education and significant years of related experience leading capital projects in industrial / manufacturing environment
+ Demonstrated ability to lead multiple technical disciplines and suppliers / vendors.
+ Demonstrated strong project fundamentals (cost / schedule tracking, change management, risk identification, options analysis, etc.)
+ Experience with direct supervision of contractors and construction activities
+ Ability to work as part of a team, with the capability to manage, communicate, and influence key stakeholders.
+ Proficient in Microsoft applications and other project management software applications.
+ CPG industry experience a plus
+ Exposure leading projects under contracting strategies such as T&M, Cost Plus, etc.
+ Food Industry Sanitary Design and world class Occupational Safety experience a plus
+ Six Sigma methodology a plus
