Position Summary: You will play an important role in workforce planning across the Auto, Liability and Property Claims Operation by maintaining oversight of the staffing process while also overseeing teams of transitional Auto, Liability and Property claims staff. This role comes with high visibility to the Claims Operation leadership team and the opportunity to manage a high-performing team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Workforce Optimization & Operational Efficiency Management. How you'll make an impact Essential responsibilities include: Leads a team of claims professionals that take on transitional and temporary assignments across the Auto, Liability and Property Claims Operation Leads transitional team hiring and develops training plan Collaborates with the regional claims leadership to ensure transitional staff meets expectations Implements any required corrective action plans Develops and implements strategies for talent attraction and retention based on the transitional team needs, including developing non-traditional sources of talent sourcing Monitors quality metrics for transitional team and identify and address any negative trends or scores Displays understanding of LOB clients, book of business and licensing requirements and provides appropriate recommendations for transitional staff placements to ensure best outcomes for the business Monitors and tracks all transitional staff assignments to ensure re-evaluation intervals and appropriate allocation of resources Reports to executive leadership on transitional staff program Manages resource planning process for all the Auto, Liability and Property branches, working closely with Claims Operations leaders to evaluate needs and review workforce requests Provides guidance and oversight for team of administrative staff who support workforce planning activities Partners with Vice President of Workforce Optimization & Operational Efficiency Management to prepare and deliver effective presentations including weekly Executive Committee update Perform other duties as assigned About You Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field 7 years of relevant work experience in Claims Operations and/or workforce planning 3+ years of leadership experience in relevant field Strong Excel skills (performing data analysis, reporting, pivot tables, and synthesis) Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of leadership Proven ability to effectively manage and develop a team Insurance or Third Party Administration experience strongly preferred Proven experience in property & casualty claims operational analytics Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills with ability to innovate using technology Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Products, including PowerApps Strong analytical skills with ability to identify trends and develop solutions Detail-oriented, organized, proven quality-focused leader Experience working across multiple teams and building consensus #LI-JA1 Compensation and benefits On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
