We are looking for an exceptional marketing leader who fosters leadership within a multidisciplinary team, with a proven track record in directing, inspiring, and mentoring experts. This experienced individual has successfully led strategic, customer-centric projects with positive results within tight deadlines. This person excels at overcoming obstacles and rallying teams to achieve business objectives.
This strategic role involves taking on the leadership of resources and mandates related to lifecycle marketing in the context of growth at the national level for all the Intact Financial Corporation brands. We are seeking a visionary individual, motivated by results and data to transform our customer journey and generate growth and advocacy throughout the customer lifecycle. This leader will develop targeted omnichannel tactical plans to significantly increase lead and revenue generation, as well as retention to achieve short and long-term objectives. By working closely with our external partners and various internal teams, this individual will play a key role in developing relationship marketing plans and go-to-market strategies for each brand. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Lifecycle Marketing at Intact.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a stimulating and pleasant work environment while working to achieve ambitious goals, as well as play an essential role as a coach and ambassador for the marketing team, fostering creativity and innovation within the team.
Develop and implement comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategies to drive customer growth, retention, lifetime value and advocacy, ensuring seamless integration with the digital engagement strategies.
Utilize data to identify key customer segments and tailor marketing initiatives, to address unique needs, behaviors and preferences, and create personalized journeys.
Plan, execute, and optimize omnichannel marketing campaigns across email, SMS, in-app messaging, and other relevant channels.
Manage creative and content development with the external agency and our internal partners to develop performing and compelling personalized messaging.
Partner with data analytics teams to leverage customer insights and inform marketing strategies, analyze performance and leverage insights to optimize journeys’ effectiveness and drive continuous improvement, refining segmentation strategies to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Actuarial, Underwriting, Labs, and Sales to ensure alignment and integration of lifecycle marketing efforts.
Manage marketing automation platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and other tools (Planner, Litmus) used for lifecycle marketing, in collaboration with the Digital Engagement team
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the use of best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
7+ years of experience as a manager of multidisciplinary teams.
5+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or a related role.
Strong background in marketing strategy, email marketing, customer segmentation, and data-driven decision-making.
Proficiency with marketing automation platforms and peripheral tools (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Litmus, …).
Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting tools (Microsoft Power BI, Google Analytics, Excel, …).
Experience with A/B testing and optimization techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to present ideas to senior management.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Creative thinker with a strong customer-centric approach.
Knowledge of CASL (Canada’s Anti-Spam Law) and other data privacy regulations.
Experience in a similar industry or with a similar customer base is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
Bilingualism (French and English) – required to regularly interact with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
