Manager, Lifecycle Marketing and Retention

Manager of Lifecycle Marketing and Retention for Reuters.com subscriptions will focus on building and nurturing relationships with both users and subscribers throughout their entire customer lifecycle.

As the Manager of Lifecycle Marketing and Retention, you will be responsible for mapping the customer journey, identifying key touchpoints, and developing targeted, data-driven communication strategies across multiple channels including email, on site and in-app messaging. Your expertise will be valuable in enhancing customer engagement, optimizing the transition between lifecycle stages, and moving users down the funnel while building lasting engagement for users and subscribers. You will leverage customer segmentation, implement dynamic strategies and create automated workflows, you will deliver personalized experiences that address specific needs at each stage of the customer journey. Your work will not only improve overall metrics but also create a seamless, value-driven experience that solidifies Reuters' position as a leading provider of trusted news and information globally.

About The Role

As a Manager of Lifecycle Marketing and Retention, you will:

Work cross-functionally across the organization to define product requirements and prioritize engagement and subscriber retention roadmaps.Support digital subscription growth by enhancing the subscriber onboarding, renewal, save offer and winback funnels.Map the entire customer lifecycle, identifying key touchpoints and stages (from awareness to subscriber to advocacy), while setting up and monitoring complex journeys, triggers, and automations.Create email campaigns across the customer lifecycle including automations and ad hoc communications.Develop a deep understanding of customer behaviors and needs at each stage of the lifecycle. Identify pain points in the customer journey and implement A/B testing solutions to improve the customer experience and optimize transitions between lifecycle stages.Manage end-to-end development and execution of email campaigns. Includes driving the creative review process, collaborating with designers and copywriters, identifying target audience segments and capturing feedback from multiple stakeholders.Analyze user data to refine strategies, optimize campaigns, and improve overall user experience, while developing benchmarks and regularly reporting on key metrics, such as retention, churn and LTV.Establish strong relationships with teammates managing strategy and paid media, as well as stakeholders across marketing, product, technology and analytics.

About you

To be our Manager of Lifecycle Marketing and Retention you will likely have:

4 year's experience in customer retention, email, and/or growth marketing; subscription experience a plus.Proven track record of building successful lifecycle marketing campaigns that activate new customers and increase customer lifetime value.Hands on experience with CRM technology including Salesforce, ESPs such as Sailthru and Eloqua, segmentation tools, and complex data structures and systemsStrong project management skills with the ability to build strategy roadmaps tied to data and growth with a detailed approach.Ability to think long-term while executing short-term engagement and retention goals and tactics.Deep understanding of lifecycle marketing and the complete customer acquisition funnels and user behavior with a passion for the Reuters consumer.Ability to thrive in a matrix organization, collaborating effectively across teams to achieve shared goals.Extremely organized, dependable, self-motivated & ability to multi-task
