THE JOB:
As the Studio Manager for MGM Resorts International's live-streaming studio, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all department organizational activities of the Studio team in accordance with the company's goals and strategies. You will establish and continually monitor department key performance indicators (KPIs) and related metrics for service quality, efficiency, budgets, and employee engagement. The Studio Manager collaborates regularly with property leadership in departments such as Facilities, Hospitality, IT, Casino Operations, and Human Resources, as well as related Corporate and third-party partners, to ensure administrative and operational processes are effectively met and completed on schedule. This position takes a leadership role in promoting and maintaining a team culture of collaboration, professionalism, and guest service through engaging leadership. All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and Company policies, practices, and procedures.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Operations and administrative manager for the live streaming studio ensures the execution of functions and tasks in accordance with the company’s deadlines and strategies.
Meets regularly with internal, corporate, and external partners to discuss the operational needs of the department, share necessary reporting, and implement new procedures/policies as needed.
Monitors department performance toward short and long-term goals for the studio, including guest service, staffing levels, product maintenance, regulatory compliance, etc.
Promotes continuous improvement initiatives for the studio, and analyzes appropriate data/reports to plan, implement, and evaluate processes and/or procedures tied to improving guest service, operational performance, employee engagement, etc.
Ensures all necessary communication and reporting is completed for live-streaming studio partners, including technical issues, prize awards, guest feedback, etc.
Maintain a high level of guest service and employee engagement through fostering a culture of cooperation, accountability, and professionalism; recognize employees for exhibiting these behaviors and other accomplishments.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality or equivalent experience
2+ years of hospitality, entertainment, and front-facing guest service, or prior relevant experience
2+ years of supervisory experience in hospitality, entertainment, or other front-facing guest service environments, or prior relevant experience
