Royal Caribbean Group’s Supply Chain Team has an exciting career opportunity for a Manager, Log Fulfillment Projects reporting to the Director, Global Log & Warehousing.

 

This position will work on-site in Weston, Florida.

 

Position Summary:

This is a managerial position responsible for managing, tracking and coordinating On Time Delivery (OTD) from the point of order management up to final destination. Projects include Newbuild, Dry-dock, revitalization and In Service Projects.This position will serve as the primary liaison the logistics project team, purchasing/Commodity Managers and suppliers managing the consolidation and transportation of goods.  
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides overall fulfillment leadership and support for all Newbuild, Revitalization, Dry-Dock and In-service projects.  Serves as primary OTD metric owner for all project-related deliveries Serves as primary liaison between logistics project team managers, purchasing/Commodity Managers (CMs) and suppliers involved in the projects.   Provides leadership and guidance to 3rd party logistics providers as it relates to product trace and trackability   Manages the performance of all fulfillment coordinators with the objective of making the process continually efficient and transparent   Develops delivery performance summaries and identifies strategic opportunities for overall delivery improvements for the projects   Identifies opportunities to further leverage the core competencies of our logistics provider and provides guidance that enables timely delivery and material transparency   Perform to such a degree that the logistics project team managers and purchasing CMs are totally removed from the day to day involvement of material delivery   Implements tools and capabilities that provide up to date guidance on material status by PO level by project venue   Plans and oversees those operations is consistent in meeting all requirements for provisioning based on the Projects Load Schedule.   Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of operations and subordinates.   Performs other duties as required. Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field required.    5 years or more experience in all Logistics/Supply Chain related work. Extensive work knowledge of Logistics practices and procedures involved in order management; shipping, receiving functions and transportation management.   Ability to manage a staff (7) in a positive and productive manner by motivating, developing and managing employees as they work. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal form, effectively present information and respond to questions to Senior Management, Co-workers. Working knowledge of Computer and Company systems is a must.   Experience in develops process and procedures for internal and external customers bringing efficiencies improving productivity.   Proficiency in Microsoft office products.  Extensive knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures involved in shipping and receiving.    Knowledge of Food Safety Procedures, U.S. Customs, Port Authority and U.S. Coast Guard Requirements.    Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple projects and priorities.    Must have strong supervisory skills and must possess the ability to communicate at the highest level of the organization.    Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate in a multicultural environment with all levels of employees and management
