Our Global Supply Chain team plays a central part in ensuring our products are delivered to patients with cardiovascular disease and critical care needs. You’ll partner cross-functionally with manufacturing operations and sales teams, delivering thoughtful solutions to complex challenges all while developing your knowledge of the medical device industry. Whether your work includes strategic inventory planning, labeling, warehouse management, material handling, or any of our other supply chain opportunities, you will be making a meaningful contribution to our team and to patients all over the world.

How you will make an impact:
• Manage activities with the accountability for successful completion of all deliverables.(e.g., cost, quality, customer service). Identify risk, develop mitigation strategies, alternative solutions, resolve issues, action item follow up in collaboration with cross functional and/or matrix teams within multiple countries and/or locations
• Manage and oversee the oversee distribution flows within geographic region for product lines with moderate complexity while ensuring cost and customer service targets are met with significant financial relevance while ensuring providers deliver on agreed commitments within multiple countries and/or locations
• Identify, validate and implement processes (e.g., quality, cost) in multiple complex areas of responsibility that align with key business strategies
• Lead in the execution of strategic initiatives (e.g, network, mode, or sourcing changes) within multiple countries and/or locations
• Develop robust talent development plan in alignment with functional growth strategies of the department.
• Identify risk, develop and lead in the implementation of broad and more complex logistics strategies across transportation, carrier network, supply channels, and distribution centers.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement based on lean and Six Sigma principles
• Other incidental duties

What you'll need (Required):

• Bachelor's Degree in in related field related experience in planning, purchasing, warehousing, distribution, and/or materials management Required and
• Other: in Certification in related field (e.g., CTLD, APICS) Preferred
• Experience with Six Sigma and lean principles
• Demonstrated track record in people management Required
• Experience working in a regulated industry Preferred

What else we look for (Preferred):

• Proven successful project management leadership skills
• Proficient in both Microsoft Office Suite and related systems including JDE, Advanced Planning Systems
• Proven expertise in analysis and data management
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
• Expert understanding of supply chain procedures while identifying applications of functional knowledge and existing methodologies to complex problems
• Expert understanding of related aspects of logistics processes and/or systems
• Expert understanding of two or more areas of transportation, carrier network, supply channels, and distribution centers.
• Expert knowledge of financial mechanism that relates to logistics
• Expert understanding of planning concepts and requirements (e.g., CRP (Capacity Requirement Planning), MRP (Material Requirements Plan), Production Scheduling and Sequencing
• Expert understanding of Sales, Inventory and Operating Planning (SIOP or S&OP)
• Demonstrated ability to manage one or more teams and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations
• Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of supply chain to the business
• Strict attention to detail
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
• Ability to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
