Job Summary

This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring global logistics operations. Managing the logistics operations are performed according to internal rules and in compliance with international trade and customs regulations. Manages our global 3rd party logistics provide to support our global operations. The Logistics Manager strives to improve the financial efficiency and performance of the Company’s logistics network.

Job Description

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Supervise the work of Logistics and manage the logistics team.Manage 2PL/3PL vendors and negotiate transportation / warehousing rates and services. Approves 2PL/3PL invoices.Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as order management, accounting, compliance or projects.Recommend optimal transportation modes and network. Design models for use in evaluating logistics programs or services and analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.Create policies or standard operating procedures for logistics activities and maintain process documentation.Perform regulatory watch for Trade and Customs compliance and ensure the Logistics function in the Company abides by such rules.Establish and monitor specific logistics-based performance measurement systems; review logistics KPI reports for ways to improve performance and efficiency and coordinate corrective actions with 2PL/3PL. Recommend purchase/implementation of new or improved technology, such as automated systems, to improve logistics performance.Create and Manage Global and new country Logistics Tenders.

Education:

Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Transportation or Business AdministrationPreferred Level: Master's Degree

Experience:

Minimum Required: 10+ years in Logistics and at least 5+ years in Logistics Manager role.

Skills:

Minimum Required: Ability to manage, coach, and provide training for direct reports; Excellent analytical, complex problem solving and organizational skills. Strong Critical Thinking, Negotiation, Management of Financial Resources, Systems Analysis skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills.Preferred Level: Knowledge of laws relative to Transportation, Trade and Customs regulations; Familiarity with Oil and Gas logistics specificities and standards.

Pre-Requisite/Qualification:
