Role Summary:

This position requires a strong understanding of the full cycle of new and repaired mechanical seal orders including the DCI process, quoting and concluding with delivery and acceptance. The Manufacturing Manager ensures that dates are in control and determines if we need to outsource processes and/or work overtime to meet delivery dates. The Manufacturing Manager manages the availability of manufactured parts, purchased parts, and outside operations to align with Flowserve’s shop labor. This position reports to the QRC General Manager and has direct reports.

Your role:

Your main responsibilities will be around several aspects

Supplies:

o Led the process of identify and develop suppliers in region (machining, coating, welding, painting, etc)
o Create required logistics to coordinate manufacturing + quality + supply chain

Manufacturing:

o Ensure proper utilization of workshop resources and balance load/capacity

o Control OPEX
o Lead the implementation of CAPEX for workshop improvements and
o Lead the HR operations change (new recruitment, training, defining processes)

Systems:

o Participate on the ERP implementation with all required actions in the operations area, ensure proper utilization of the ERP system for all operational transactions

Your profile:

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field. Master’s Degree in Business Administration is a plus.Minimum 5 years in leadership roles industrial operations Familiarity with P&L, financial and operational reporting metrics, and performance management systems required.Experience with foreign markets, managing operations in remote locations, and export controls necessary.Strong leadership skills are necessary, especially the ability to influence across an organization and build high performing teamsKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement processes are a must for the position.BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 5-8 years relevant experience
