Deliver high performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. **Position** Manager, Manufacturing Operations, Support Ops (3rd shift) **Location** USA, Louisville, KY **How You'll Create Possibilities** As a key player in our manufacturing facility, you will: **Shape Operational Excellence** + Lead the performance and improvement of a complete value stream, aligning metrics with plant goals. + Manage and mentor cross-functional teams, including hourly team members, Area Leaders, and Team Leaders. + Deploy standardized work and ensure process stability to deliver top-tier results. + Champion 5S principles to maintain a clean, efficient, and safe workplace. **Drive Continuous Improvement** + Implement and teach lean manufacturing practices through the Appliance Production System. + Identify and eliminate waste, driving short- and long-term improvements. + Resolve escalated issues with a focus on root cause analysis and proactive solutions. **Lead a High-Performing Team** + Set individual and team goals, provide career coaching, and foster talent development. + Partner with HR to maintain a positive, equitable workplace environment. + Build and mentor future leaders, ensuring sustainable leadership growth. **Deliver Quality** + Ensure defect-free production by adhering to Manufacturing Control Plans and quality standards. + Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to improve key metrics like First Pass Yield and Service Call Rate. **Champion Safety** + Promote a safety-first culture through effective programs and proactive measures. + Investigate incidents thoroughly, addressing root causes to drive corrective actions. **What You'll Bring to Our Team** **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). + 5+ years of leadership in high-volume manufacturing. + Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. + Proficiency in MS Office and ability to tackle complex manufacturing challenges. **Preferred Qualifications:** + 7+ years of supervisory experience in plant operations. + ERP expertise and process improvement certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt). + Proven success in lean manufacturing initiatives. **Why You’ll Love Working Here** + **Impactful Work** : Drive the success of an entire value stream in a collaborative environment. + **Career Growth** : Build your leadership journey with ongoing development opportunities. + **Innovative Culture** : Embrace lean manufacturing and cutting-edge operational strategies. + **Commitment to Safety and Quality** : Join a team where these values come first.
