Purpose\:

Comply with Worley and project procurement policies and procedures and act within the limits of delegated authority. Ensure that assigned team members follow policies and procedures, have proper levels of delegation and act strictly within them. Ensures compliance with Worley Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities\:

Comply to Worley framework. Management and distribution of materials control workload. Responsible for managing the entire material management flow process – Process Coordination – Integration and leadership of materials management planning and execution activities across the project functions; Project Materials Requirements Planning – Identifying, quantifying, scheduling, and managing Project Materials requirements based on Construction/fabrication demand, facilities/systems completion sequence, Engineering deliverables, and Project Materials acquisition and delivery cycle times;  Materials Control – Safe and timely receipt, storage, preservation, handling, distribution, and disposal of Project Materials. Coordinate and participate in the development of Construction Work Packages (CWP), Advance Work Packages (AWP) and Procurement Work Packages (PWP) Oversee the accurate and timely data entry into the materials management system e.g. AVEVA ERM, Smart Plant Materials or equivalent based on engineering and procurement activities\: bills of material, purchase order, receiving, materials request. Working knowledge of Pipe, Steel & Module Fabrication. Track, monitor and manage materials progress and shortage reports. Prepare project specific materials management procedures based on Worley Management System to address identified and potential risks and customer and contractual requirements.  Develop Materials Responsibility Matrix. Develop project bulk materials procurement and execution strategy in consultation with other project disciplines. Participates in the project risk assessment workshops and outlines the materials related risks to the project. Counsel, assist and direct subordinate staff in accomplishing the project materials objectives. Identify, develop and implement training to enable staff to more efficiently and effectively perform assigned functions. Encourage and promote innovation in obtaining materials management objectives. *

What you will bring

Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements\: 

General\:

8-10 years Material Control / Management experience.
Management skills including team work, leadership and working with diverse and remote teams. Highly effective communication and presentation skills, both written and oral, including ability to communicate with / train personnel with varying degrees of skills. Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary, cross functional, multi-location team environment.

Job Specific Knowledge\:

Material Management experience on EPC / EPCM projects at Worley or other comparable organizations. Good understanding of the EPC / EPCM industry functional systems, processes and tools. Familiar with ‘cradle to grave’ Materials Management ERM system e.g. AVEVA ERM, SAP, Oracle, SPM, MMS etc. or equivalent. Expertise in Excel (advance level) and Data Analytics, Power BI etc.

Other\:

Able to work flexible hours. Ability to travel on short term assignments. Provide feedback for direct report employees Performance Review.

Degree in Bachelor’s.

Preferred\:

Knowledge of EPC Materials Management practices.
