Position Summary:

The Manager, Merchandising Process, is responsible to manage and monitor the Merchandise Process Analyst team to maximize profit by minimizing operational processes and order processing cost.  This manager will lead the team in developing, training and executing best practices to drive efficient operational processes, order management, pack configuration and effective use of technology.

 

Manages the MPA team (3-6) for the specified business group.

Partners with Director to manage workflow and flex resources to maximize overall efficiency of the team and process. Required to work under tight deadlines with heavy workloads and high visibility to merchandising leadership.

Builds relationships with management/peers in merchant teams as well as vendor partners. Education and Process Management

Develops and provides training materials and methods, facilitates and coaches merchants on merchandising operations processes and tools, as well as coaches the team on how to deliver and develop effective, impactful training.Identifies opportunities, gains alignment with leadership, and implements solutions that improve customer experience-treasure hunt, make it easier for the vendor, and streamline supply chain processes to lower processing costs to improve Loaded GM, reduce depth, and improve speed to market.Reviews team's deliverables to ensure accuracy and business relevance.

Scope and Impact:

The Manager, Merchandise Process Analysts is responsible to manage and monitor the MPA team to drive cost efficient order processing.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree

Experience:

 

Min 3-5 years of operations management experience, preferably leading teams of 3 or more2+ years of merchandising experience required

Skills and Abilities: 

Strong leadership and team building skills including coaching, training and collaborationOutstanding communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to present and support a point of view to senior leadershipStrong ability to manage through conflict and problem resolutionStrong fact-based and intuitive decision-making skillsExcellent organization skills and detail-orientation with the ability to multi-task prioritize and manage timeStrong numbers aptitude and math skillsStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office Excel, Teams.Strong ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
